Face Data/user Images
What face data is collected?
we allow users to upload photos which may include their face-solely to generate hairstyle previews. No biometric data (facial geometry, templates, or identifiers) is ever extracted or stored.
How and why it is used?
Uploaded images are used only to process and produce haircut previews via our Ai model. This flow is:
1. User uploads an image.
2. Replicate processes the image to generate styled results.
3. Cloudinary stores original and processed images so users view their history.
We don't use face data for marketing, analytics, model training, or any purpose beyond delivering your hairstyle preview.
How long is face data stored?
Replicate retains images for up to 1 hour strictly for processing, then deletes them automatically.
Cloudinary stores images in your personal folder until you decide to delete them by going to Profile tab and then delete images one by one or when you delete your account all of the images.
Supabase only stores URLs of the images (no the actual image) to be used in the code for the users' history, and it will be deleted at the same time user deletes their images and /or account.
With whom the face data shared?
We share images only with:
Replicate (Ai processing; 1-Hour retention)
Cloudinary (secure storage and CDN delivery)
Supabase (stores images URLs (link/reference only) for user history functionality.
Do third parties store face data?
Replicate: images deleted automatically after one hour.
Cloudinary: store images for delivery purposes, only accessible to your authenticated session.
Supabase: Doesn't store iamges-only the URLs of the images.
